Köppen zones are broad strokes. A south-facing wall, a concrete patio, or a shading tree all shift your actual raising conditions. A BSk grower with a south-facing wall and a black container can raise things two zones warmer. Pay attention to your specific spot, not just your region.

We Keep Bees

There are hives on our farm. They work the outdoor ground, which grows our own food and our experiments rather than anything we sell, and they are the reason we pay attention to what goes on those plants. We do not use neonicotinoids. Real save-the-bees, not a sticker on a box. If you garden outdoors, your pollinators are doing the same job for you, so treat them like the help.

We Raise Ours Inside. You Can Too.

We raise every plant we sell in our climate-controlled nursery: 16 hours of light, 75–85°F, consistent humidity. The zone outside doesn't limit what you can raise inside. If you want a Carolina Reaper and you live in Dfb, keep it by a bright window. The zip code doesn't matter if the container is in your living room.
