About an inch long, green outside with a golden interior, thick juicy walls and the black seeds typical of the species. Pods come away from the calyx cleanly when fully ripe. Juicy and fruity, with heat that builds slowly. Like other rocotos it takes cool conditions better than most peppers.Rocotos ship overnight only, packed with cool packs. Capsicum pubescens does not travel well, so overnight is the only service we will send it by and every box goes out with cool packs. We grow a limited number each season.
